Balance is an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady. Parkour movements are designed to find the body's balance
Balance equals longevity.
A breath is the closest thing to heaven on earth and should be the primary focus while balancing, especially as you balance on higher ledges/rails. As you walk a ledge reflect on what other areas, beyond the physical, you have been neglecting. Where are you out of balance? Too much work, not enough play? Too much meat, not enough greens? Too much sleep? Too little sleep? It is important to be conscious of your choices, so that you can journey through life powerfully. If you are injured or ill chances are you are lacking balance.
A feeling of vertigo, funny vision.
These side effects simply come from lack of practice. Balance primarily comes from the ear, however all senses play a role. Try closing your eyes to strengthen your vestibular apparatus. This will give you a better understanding of where balance originates from and you will rely less on what you "see" but rather what you "feel."
